Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Quiblo ("we", "us") makes a weekly ecological puzzle game. We care about your privacy and built Quiblo to collect as little personal data as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.
1. What we collect
- Account info — email address, chosen pilot name, and avatar.
- Game data — puzzle scores, completion times, eco-points, and leaderboard entries.
- Device basics — app version, OS version, and crash logs (used only to fix bugs).
- Purchase records — a record that you bought the app or are subscribed. We never see or store payment card details — Apple handles all billing.
2. What we do not collect
- No location data.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No third-party advertising trackers.
- No in-app chat — players cannot message each other inside Quiblo.
3. How we use your data
We use the data above only to: run your account, save your puzzle progress, display leaderboards, fix bugs, and process refunds via Apple. We do not sell your data — ever.
4. Children
Quiblo is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect more personal information than listed above and we never use it for behavioural advertising.
4a. COPPA (United States)
We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For children under 13:
- We collect only the minimum data needed to run the game (account, game progress, diagnostics).
- We never share a child's personal information with third parties for advertising.
- A parent or guardian may review, correct, or delete their child's information at any time by emailing plutosjt@gmail.com.
- A parental gate (a grown-up maths check) protects every purchase, every external link, and every account-deletion request inside the app.
4b. GDPR-K (United Kingdom & European Union)
We comply with the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, including children's provisions (GDPR-K). The lawful basis for processing children's account and game data is the performance of our service to the child and the legitimate interest of the parent or guardian. For children below the age of digital consent in their country (13–16 depending on the member state), a parent or guardian must approve account creation and any purchase.
4c. Parent & guardian rights
Parents and guardians have the right to: (a) review what we have collected about their child, (b) ask us to correct or delete it, (c) refuse further collection, and (d) revoke any consent previously given. Email plutosjt@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and removes leaderboard entries.
5. Where data is stored
Account and game data is stored on secure servers operated by our backend provider. Backups are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to a small set of operators.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing plutosjt@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and removes your leaderboard entries. We respond within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll show you a notice in the app the next time you open it.
