It started with a tablet and a bedtime.
In the summer of 2025, Jo Dourou Schrader watched her two sons — then aged three and six — settle in front of a screen for the evening. They weren't playing. They weren't learning. They were scrolling, tapping, and being fed a stream of content engineered to keep them there.
She turned it off. They protested. And she spent the rest of the night thinking about why that was so hard — not because her boys were addicted, but because the alternatives were worse. Educational apps felt like homework. Safe apps were boring. The good stuff wasn't good enough.
She's a builder of things — products, teams, habits, mindsets. When she couldn't find what her family needed, building it herself was the only logical answer.

PlutosJT Ltd. was incorporated in 2025. The name is a nod to the two things that drive the work: family (JT, for the boys) and the idea that great things can come from unexpected places — small, overlooked, and full of potential, just like Pluto.
The mission is simple: build software products that sit at the intersection of entertainment, education, mindset, and personal development. Products the whole family can use — not despite it being screen time, but because it's good screen time.
Every product PlutosJT ships is designed around one question: would you hand this to your child without hesitation? If the answer is yes, it ships. If not, it doesn't.

Jo is a software developer, founder, and mother of two based in the United Kingdom. She founded PlutosJT in 2025 after identifying a gap that was personal before it was professional: there simply weren't enough digital products she could trust with her children's attention.
Her background is in building software products from the ground up — from design through to deployment. PlutosJT is the convergence of that technical experience and the very human motivation of wanting something better for her family.
Quiblo is the first product to come out of that conviction. It won't be the last.
